Is a Walmart Plus membership worth it?

Gretchen here! I’ve had Walmart Plus for over a year now and I love it almost more than Amazon Prime (that’s saying a lot)! There are many benefits to having a Plus membership, including FREE 2-day shipping on any order and a FREE subscription to Paramount+. But, free delivery of groceries and household items to my door during the day is one of my favorite things. I found it very easy to place an order and schedule it to be delivered between 8am-9am the next morning. Not only does it save me tons of time on weeks when I can’t go to the store to buy larger items, it also saves me money because I don’t make any purchases while I’m in the store and I can easily stay within my grocery budget since I see the total at checkout before paying.
Honestly, a Paramount+ subscription is an amazing deal in itself! It’s usually $6/month so you’re essentially saving $72/year by having Walmart+. We’ve got a lot of great shows on Paramount+ and it’s become a favorite when it comes to watching sports and games. (As a side note, my husband is a huge soccer fan and LOVES access to many soccer games on Paramount+.!)
Last December, I was able to use my Walmart+ membership to ship all my Christmas gifts completely free in just 2 days. The part that surprised me was that the shipping time for Walmart+ was much faster than Amazon Prime during those busy weeks of the holiday season. I still find that on average, Walmart+ ships items to my house faster than Amazon.

During the holidays, I got a lot of great deals before they went on sale because I didn’t have to wait to hit the minimum shipping threshold. Some deals are even delivered to my local store the same or next day. For the past few months, I have been using grocery delivery a lot and it has been such a time and life saver for me. On both of our recent camping trips, I could get all the groceries and other camping essentials delivered to my door the same day, making it easy for us to prepare during busy work weeks.

No, Walmart Plus does not include a Sam’s Club membership, and you cannot purchase discounted items with your Walmart Plus account at Sam’s Club. However, you can get discounts on gas at most Sam’s Club locations.
Walmart Plus members have access to special member prices on thousands of products sold in its marketplace. These prices are often lower than the prices available to non-members, providing more value for the subscription.
You can cancel on your Walmart+ account page or contact customer care. If you cancel before the end of the paid period, you will not receive a partial refund, but you will have access to the membership benefits until the end of that paid period.
