The Pittsburgh Steelers escaped Detroit with a 29-24 victory over the Lions on Sunday as the game came down to the final minutes.
Jared Goff and the Lions had one last chance. The team earned more shots at the finish line after battling through penalty flags. Goff thought he had wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown scored the lead, but was interrupted by an offensive pass called for Isaac TeSlaa, who missed the score. A first foul penalty put the Lions back and even in front of the goal line.

But they had one more chance. Goff dropped back to pass and directed St. Brown. The wide receiver intercepted the pass and was initially thought to be stopped short of the goal line. However, he laid the ball off to Goff, who ran it in for what the team and fans thought was the game-winner.
A flag was thrown at the game.
The management team took some time to fix this problem. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what the call will say. Officials said there was a game interference, but St. Brown was called for pass interference as he pushed Jalen Ramsey while trying to get open.
Cheers from Detroit fans soon turned to boos. The Lions players were left in disbelief.

“Chaos,” Aaron Rodgers said when asked how he would describe the final game. “I was part of a game 13 years ago that was such a mess. However, I was part of the referee.
“I mean, just looking at it now, it looks like there’s OPI. It looks like it’s stopped. It looks like progress just stopped. It’s a crazy game.”
It was a big win for the Steelers, who were trying to stay at the top of the AFC North.
Rodgers was 27-of-41 with 266 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Kenneth Gainwell. Running back Jaylen Warren had 143 rushing yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns.
The win also solidifies another winning season for head coach Mike Tomlin. It’s 19 straight seasons of at least a .500 record or better.
