Police are investigating a homicide at Rob Rener’s home after he was found dead
Los Angeles police are investigating a homicide in Brentwood at Rob Rener’s home, where two people were found dead Sunday afternoon.
The bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were found at a home in the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue, according to Poli Port. Mike Bland.
Law enforcement sources confirmed at times there was no sign of forced entry into the home.
Margaret Stewart, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said the department was called to the home around 3:30 PM for medical assistance. Inside the home, fire crews found the bodies of a man and a woman.
The property is the home of Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reener.
The names of the victims have not been released, and few other details were available.

Reiner, 78, had a long five-year career in Hollywood
At the beginning of his career he played Michael “Teackard” Stivic in the Iconic Sitcom “All in the Family” from 1971 to 1979, alongside Roroll O’Connor as Archie Bunker.
As a director, Rearer created a string of hits including “When Harry Met Sally,” “The Bride of Pringss” and “This is made of spine.” His career turned into an amazing opportunity when he directed the 1986 adaptation of Steven King’s novella “me.”
He was eventually nominated for an Academy Award in 1993 for “a few men starring Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise, although the movie lost to Clint in the west”.
Reiner returned and was the leading voice of politics in Hollywood.
He was the founder of the American Foundation for Equal Rights, an organization that led the fight and won Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage. He has also been active in children’s issues over the years, having led the campaign to pass Proposition 10, the California Children and Families Initiative, which created an ambitious program of early childhood care services.
Proposition 10 was adopted as final policy. Having written help in the effort from Steven Spielberg, Robin Williams, and his Father, Comedy Legend Carl Reener.
Deire was married to Penny Marshall, star of “Laverne and Shirley,” from 1971 to 1981. He met in 1981. He met Sally and they got married in 1989, the year he got the movie.
Michele Singer Reiner began producing films in the last decade, including “shock and awe,” “Albert Brooks: Defending my husband,” all directed by her husband. He also produced “God & Country,” a look at Christian nationalism in the US
By Sunday evening, the enforcement order had been lifted in a full blown fire in Brentwood.
Traci CouncilMember Traci Park, read by the Western Westerside, said in a statement that the lapd was shocked by the police presence in the area “out of an abundance of caution.”
“As we continue to wait for more updates, I want to express my deep concern and sadness at the news coming out of Brentwood,” the statement read. “We have been in close contact with the lapd as the homicide unit continues its investigation.”
