Oprah shows off a dramatic weight transformation at the Chloe runway show

Oprah Winfrey wowed when she arrived at Paris Fashion Week with her new slimmed down body.
The 72-year-old news anchor was spotted arriving at the Chloe runway show looking remarkably slim in high-waisted jeans, a cream-colored top and a brown jacket.
She teamed her look with sunglasses, a white purse and pointed high-heeled closed-toe shoes, and wore her hair in a high pony.
The media star was also pictured front row at the Stella McCartney fashion show, where she paired a pink blazer with tan trousers and a white shirt.

The former talk show host has been open about struggling with her weight many times throughout her career. He shed 67 pounds of fat from a cart while hosting an episode of his talk show in 1988, to represent the amount of weight he had lost thanks to a liquid diet.
After trying many different diets, joining Weight Watchers and trying a holistic approach, Winfrey shared in 2023 that she started taking GLP-1 weight loss medication, telling People in December 2025, she made the decision when she realized that her lifelong struggle with her weight was due to obesity, a word she had previously “avoided”.

“If you’re genetically obese, I want people to know that it’s not your fault,” Winfrey said. “I want people to stop blaming themselves for genetics and the environment that you can’t control. I want people to be informed, whatever you choose to do with it, whether you get medication, or whether you want to continue eating.”
Winfrey shared that after she started taking GLP-1 medication, she started to feel like “everything is calmer and stronger” as it helps control “the messages that are sent to your mind about overeating.”

She detailed her weight loss journey in her book, “Enough,” which she co-authored with obesity expert Dr. Ania M. Jastreboff. He discussed the book and what it was like to be the butt of all the jokes for years, while appearing on “The View” in January.

“The reason why I made this book with Dr. Ania is because what I felt all those years – the shame and guilt I gave myself – I felt it because it was my fault,” he said. “I felt like it was my fault that I was fat, so when comedians made fun of me, I felt like, ‘Well, it’s okay for me to be the victim of their jokes because I have to lose weight.
The “A Wrinkle In Time” star explained that she feels embarrassed every time she regains weight, and said that she “accepts” jokes about her weight because “we think it’s okay.”
One example he gave was when he appeared on “The Tonight Show” for the first time, explaining that he was “so happy to be there” that he spent “his entire paycheck on Stuart Weitzman’s shoes,” only for host Joan Rivers to shame him for gaining too much weight.

“And I remember walking away embarrassed, but he said I could come back if I lost 15 pounds, so I wasn’t mad at him. I thought, I have to ride it. I have to lose those 15 pounds,” said Winfrey.

Speaking to People , Winfrey said that when she realized that “overeating doesn’t cause obesity. Obesity causes overeating,” she felt “the most mind-blowing, most liberating thing I’ve ever experienced as an adult.”
