Meta blocks ‘ICE list’ site that allegedly names DHS employees, agents

Meta blocks users from sharing links to a controversial website called “ICE List,” which is said to have published thousands of names of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employees, including law enforcement agents.

The site, created in 2025, says it “documents immigration law, preserves evidence and maintains a public record for accountability.”

However, critics say that dumping the document could be considered doxxing.

It documents the events, agencies, individuals, institutions, vehicles and law enforcement authorities involved in enforcement operations.

The site’s creators say the list is “designed for use by journalists, researchers, lawyers and the general public.”

A Meta spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that the move is in line with its existing privacy policy, noting that Meta removes content that shares or requests private information, either through its services or through external links.

That information may include personal contact information, personally identifiable information such as government IDs for law enforcement, military or security personnel or residential information.

The tech company added that it has taken similar action in the past to restrict content or links that violate its standards for sharing or soliciting confidential information, stressing that the policy is long-standing and not political.

“If we identify any additional instances of personally identifiable information (PII) being shared, we will take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and procedures to protect user privacy and ensure compliance,” a spokesperson wrote in a statement to Fox Digital.

The site seemed to gain momentum after the fatal incident of Jan. 7 of the shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

A few weeks after Good’s death, Alex Pretti, 37, a Minneapolis resident and ICU nurse for the US Department of Veterans Affairs, was shot and killed Saturday by Border Patrol agents, prompting a conviction.

DHS initially said Pretti approached federal agents armed with a 9 mm handgun and “resisted violence” when they tried to disarm him.

Videos taken by witnesses appear to show Pretti tending to a woman who was knocked to the ground by police as she was sprayed with an offensive substance, pushed to the ground and beaten, Fox News Digital previously reported.

The officer was seen pulling a gun from Pretti’s waistband before Pretti was shot by Border Patrol agents.

State officials have confirmed that Pretti has a legal permit to carry it.

Gun rights groups, including the NRA and the National Association for Gun Rights, called out the Trump administration’s response to the shooting, urging politicians to “not[e] generalizations” or “demonizing law-abiding citizens.”

Although DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was quick to call the act “domestic terrorism,” court records obtained by Fox News Digital show Pretti had no criminal record other than minor traffic violations.
