Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre announced on social media that he will not be watching this year’s Super Bowl game featuring Latin Trap artist Bad Bunny.
Instead, Favre said he will sing another halftime show “All-American” presented by Turning Point USA (TPUSA).
“I don’t know Bad Bunny so I don’t know if his music is good or bad. I’ll watch what I know is Lee Brice, the Kid Rock All-American Halftime Show,” Favre wrote on X.

Favre joins a growing list of sports and political pundits to announce that they will watch the TPUSA program instead of the official recess program. Many conservatives expressed displeasure and concern over the NFL’s decision to play Bad Bunny this year because of the artist’s “woke” beliefs, including fellow NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson and former ESPN manager Sage Steele.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said the President Donald Trump will be watching Sunday’s “All-American” halftime show, headlined by country/rock artist Kid Rock.

“I think the president would much rather play Kid Rock than Bad Bunny. I have to say that,” Leavitt told reporters at a press conference Thursday at the White House.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell defended having Bad Bunny as a player.
“Listen, Bad Bunny, and I think that was shown last night, is one of the most famous artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we chose him,” Goodell said. “But another reason is that he understood the platform he was in and this platform is used to bring people together and he is able to bring people together with their intelligence, with their skills and they were able to use this time to do that and I think the artists of the past did that.
