Saquon Barkley tops NFL jersey sales nationwide, Cowboys top teams

Fox News host Jimmy Failla discusses the ‘Made in America’ celebratory ad for ‘Varney & Co.’
With one game left in the 2025 NFL season, LIDS, an American sports retailer, has crunched the numbers and found out which teams and players are truly dominating across the United States.
LIDS has released the first visual, data-driven images that reveal the best-selling merchandise of teams and players in the country, starting with their best-selling jersey in the NFL.
The headline is none other than Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley.

Barkley was coming off a season when he joined rare company with over 2,000 yards rushing en route to helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
But another running back wasn’t far behind, as San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey was the second best-selling jersey at LIDS. Meanwhile, Barkley’s teammate, quarterback Jalen Hurts came in third on the list, while Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb rounded out the top five.
Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens) and Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) were Nos. 6 and 7, while Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill, Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels and Houston Texans’ CJ Stroud rounded out the top 10.

However, as we look across the country, names and groups differ from place to place. However, the Cowboys still seem to be “America’s Team,” at least in LIDS sales.
It was the best-selling team nationally in best sales, with the 49ers ranking second. The Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers were numbers three through five, respectively.
If you look closely at Texas, fans would think that, since the Cowboys sell the most nationally, it would be a Cowboys player whose jersey sits at the top of the charts. But it was Stroud and his Texans stripes that were the best-selling jersey in the state even though Lamb was nationally ranked.
In New York, it’s no surprise that Allen’s jersey was the best seller, but New Jersey didn’t see the New York Giants or Jets players at the top. Instead, it was Barkley going over his old Giants team.

Heading west, Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears had a 2025 season under first-year coach Ben Johnson, making it a no-brainer as to who is the best-selling jersey. Williams showed in his second season that he was the franchise player they hoped he would be last year when he was drafted for the first time.
But another quarterback in that NFL Draft has advanced to the playoffs despite a poor finish. Denver Broncos star Bo Nix was the best-selling jersey in Colorado, and he found his fame after building on a rookie campaign that was tied for 2024.
Nix suffered a broken ankle during a win over the Bills in the AFC Divisional Round, ending his season before his team fell to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship.
Speaking of men from the northeast, quarterback Drake Maye is the top seller in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
As for teams, the Cowboys have the following in the South, including the likes of Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas. But the 49ers eat the most of the Western US, with top sellers in California, Oregon, Utah, New Mexico and Hawaii.

The Kings, of course, own the Midwest, as Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska were all over Mahomes and company when they checked out their hometown LIDS.
These infographic maps are always a fun way to end the season, as they provide insight into who is from which team each year, and how much that changes based on the ever-changing landscape of the NFL standings.
