Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who is likely to run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028, criticizes former President Joe Biden and his administration for failing to deliver results to the American people.

“The Biden-Harris administration has not provided those tangible things that people can see or feel,” Shapiro said this week on the “Raging Moderates” podcast that came amid a series of interviews the governor gave as part of the launch of his new memoir, “Where We Keep the Light On: Stories from a Life in Service.”

Shapiro, who is running for re-election this year in a key battleground state in the northeast, is taking on Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris, who may end up being a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028.

The governor, in his interview, provided what he called a “clear, concrete example” of the failure of the Biden-Harris administration.

“One of the biggest things holding back our rural communities is the lack of fast and affordable internet,” said Shapiro pointing to his country.

The governor added that he was “very proud of President Biden when they got that infrastructure bill through to provide the billions of dollars that were needed to connect everyone, to connect everyone in Pennsylvania.”

But he added, “Do you know how many people… this many years later, have been connected to affordable high-speed Internet because of President Biden’s law in Pennsylvania? Zero. Because the dollars weren’t released.”

Shapiro used the episode to compare the former president’s administration to his own.

“That broadband example is just another one where I think there’s a real difference in approach. I’m talking concrete, get the sh– done, show your work, and don’t just talk about it,” the governor added.

Fox News Digital reached out to the former president’s spokesman for comment, but did not receive a response by the time this story was published.

But a longtime Democratic strategist and veteran of the Biden-Harris 2024 presidential campaign told Fox News Digital that he found Shapiro’s comments “surprising and puzzling.”

“Every Democrat, including Josh Shapiro, has a long history of praising and defending Joe Biden and the same law that Shapiro is facing now,” said the strategist, who asked not to be identified to speak freely.

Broadband funding for Pennsylvania has been delayed in part due to changes in federal regulations, regulatory issues and the focus of changing technologies.

IT’S JANUARY 2026, BUT THE 2028 WHITE HOUSE BREAK IS WELL UNDERWAY.

Shapiro, in his book, shared new details about Harris’ brief consideration of a challenge for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2024 after Biden dropped out of the race one month after a nasty debate against President Donald Trump.

But he wrote that he finally agreed with his wife that it is not the right time to seek the position of president.

Shapiro was among a handful of top Democrats Harris considered as a challenger, before he chose Gov. of Minnesota Tim Walz.

The former vice president alleged that “in 107 days,” in his memoir published last year, that during the examination of his partner Shapiro insisted that he was “in the room of all decisions” if he would become vice president.

Shapiro in an interview late last year he refused her requests as “bulls—” and “blatant lies.”

And Shapiro’s book includes criticism of Harris, including allegations that during the Harris team’s vetting of the vice president, Shapiro was asked if he had ever been an ambassador to the state of Israel.
