Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem said at a press conference Wednesday that the woman who was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer had been “stalking and blocking” all day.
Noem told reporters that ICE also ordered the victim, Renee Nicole Good, 37, to get out of her car and stop “interfering” with law enforcement, but she did not.
The agency is calling the incident an act of “domestic terrorism.”
Video of the scene showed Good’s car in the middle of the road in a residential area when ICE occupants of a black Nissan Titan truck got out and approached his car.
